And honestly, they were right to be skeptical — because the ones who did take the leap paid thousands to agencies that delivered a good-looking site, handed it over, and disappeared. A restaurant owner in central Brașov once told me: "I paid 5,000 euros for a website I don't understand, nobody updates it anymore, and I don't know if it's bringing in customers."
